WHAT IS WannaCry VIRUS : HOW IT EFFECTS TO YOUR SYSTEM

Image
What is Ransomware? Ransomware is a kind of cyber attack wherein the hackers take control of the computer system and block access to it. Then they demand ransom from the owner/operators of the computer system and don’t leave the system until the ransom is paid. The attack is launched by downloading a malicious software on a system within the network. This is done by targeting one particular victim, by getting her/him to click on a link that starts the download automatically. Once the malware is on any computer in the network, it can begin the attack by locking all the files that it can access within the network. This is a gradual process with filed being encrypted one after another. A company needs to have sophisticated security systems in place to be able to spot the attack and isolate important documents, to minimize the damage from the attack. Cyber criminals have been launching this kind of attack, normally to demand money in the form of bitcoin, in return for unlocki...

Everything You Want To Know About: New RS 2000 Currency

Image
This was supposed to be one of the biggest news for banking sector, financial institutions and the common man – because it involved India’s largest currency denomination, Rs 2000. Way back in 1938, and then again in 1954, then Governments introduced currency denomination of Rs 10,000 which was later put out of circulation in 1946 and 1978 respectively. If we leave aside Rs 10,000 currency, then Rs 2000 would be the largest denomination in the history of India. Soon after reports emerged that Rs 2000 currency notes would be introduced by RBI, another set of rumors emerged that these notes would be embedded with nano-GPS chips which can be traced all over the world. Is this news hoax? We will try to find out the truth.. Rs 2000 Currency Notes In India – Facts and Fiction The Hindu published the first available report of Rs 2000 currency being printed, and about to be launched by RBI. As per their report, currency printing press in Mysuru has already printed the first lot,...

Everything You Want To Know About : Android 7.0 Nougat

Image
Android 7.0 Nougat is Google's way of refining what we already have, and adding some essential features to an operating system they were already happy with. Since Android 5.0 we've seen how Google was shifting their design language on the phones they sell themselves and the apps and services that come on your phone. Android itself has followed this trend, and with Marshmallow we saw a flat but bold design that tied everything together. Android Nougat doesn't make major changes to the way your phone looks or the way it "feels." But what Google has done under the hood brings some new features — and much needed polish — to our favorite smartphone operating system Android Nougat makes updates faster and easier When it's time for your phone or tablet to get updated, you won't have to do anything. While you're doing the things you normally do all the hard work is done in the background — very similar to the upgrade experience on Chrome OS. The on...

Why iPhone 7 Don't Have A Earphone Jack

Image
Apple’s new iPhone doesn’t have a headphone jack, only a Lightning port that’s also used to charge the battery. In-ear sound comes from the EarPods or other headphones with a Lightning connector, via a Lightning-to-3.5mm adapter (included) or wireless headphones such as AirPods (sold separately). Why did Apple remove a common audio connector? The 3.5mm jack is over 50-years-old and doesn’t do much besides carry an audio signal. It needs its own power amplifier and digital audio converter, which can be built into headphones, so removing the jack makes room for other things, such as a second speaker. As Apple marketing chief Phil Schiller said at the iPhone 7 launch, “Maintaining an ancient, single-purpose, analogue, big connector doesn’t make sense because that space is at a premium.” But does making room for what Apple thinks we want (such as a vibrating Taptic Engine) outweigh the inconvenience of not having a widely-used socket — and being forced to buy yet another ...

IPHONE 7 PLUS DUAL CAMERA:EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO KNOW

Image
Apple just unveiled its “best iPhone yet” (we were waiting for the quote to drop too) and it comes with a more advanced camera proposition than its predecessors. But this time there's a key difference between iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus: the latter coming with dual cameras. So what's the deal and what can dual camera tech offer? Apple iPhone 7 Plus dual camera explained: Wide-angle and 2x tele We've seen dual cameras before in devices, from the LG G5's wide and super-wide lenses, to the Huawei P9's colour and monochrome sensors. The iPhone 7 Plus does things differently: the first camera is a 23mm (equivalent) wide-angle, which is wider-angle to fit even more into the frame than the previous iPhone 6S's 29mm (equivalent). The second lens, which is absent in the standard iPhone 7, offers double the focal length, to act like a 2x multiplier; a 56mm equivalent. That's the opposite direction to other manufacturers, which is an inte...

Hello World for Sensors With Arduino

Image
You have obviously heard of the Arduino boards and how they have revolutionized hobby electronics. Here is a little primer to get you started. you have heard a lot about 'Internet of Things' and probably bought yourself an arduino kit along with a few more sensors but you can't figure out how exactly use them! If that sounds like you, then you are at the right place. Here's what you will need: An Arduino uno(Obviously!) Jumper wires(Make it yourself!) Breadboard(Optional, but helpful) Arduino IDE There are undoubtedly a lot of sensors available and covering all of them wont't be feasible and that's why I'll cover the most frequently used sensors.so let's get started! Ultrasonic Distance Sensor You would have probably read about the SONAR that's used in ships.By taking the same concept into a small form factor we get a distance sensor. This sensor is available in multiple variants and I'll be using the 'HC-SRO4' variant. ...

How to make a simple line following robot using Arduino uno

Image
Line following robot In this tutorial I am gonna show you how to make a simple line following robot using IR sensors and ARDUINO UNO.I will be providing very easy and effective code that will help you to solve maze containing 90°,45° angles and curves. So les get started. Components required: 1.Arduino uno board 2.L293D motor driver IC 3.IR sensors(here i am using 5 sensors for the perfection of the robot) 4.Chassis 5.BO motors(two) 6.Castro wheel(one) 7.Batteries 8.Power bank(to power the ARDUINO) Steps to be followed:                             Step-1 Assemble BO motors and Castro wheel on the chassis as shown in the figure. Note: This is an example,my real robot have hand made chassis but the process is same. Step-2 Now place the battery and the Arduino uno board on the top of the chassis as shown.Connect the two batteries in series to get 8V out put. Step-3 Connect th...
