How to make a simple line following robot using Arduino uno

Image
Line following robot In this tutorial I am gonna show you how to make a simple line following robot using IR sensors and ARDUINO UNO.I will be providing very easy and effective code that will help you to solve maze containing 90°,45° angles and curves. So les get started. Components required: 1.Arduino uno board 2.L293D motor driver IC 3.IR sensors(here i am using 5 sensors for the perfection of the robot) 4.Chassis 5.BO motors(two) 6.Castro wheel(one) 7.Batteries 8.Power bank(to power the ARDUINO) Steps to be followed:                             Step-1 Assemble BO motors and Castro wheel on the chassis as shown in the figure. Note: This is an example,my real robot have hand made chassis but the process is same. Step-2 Now place the battery and the Arduino uno board on the top of the chassis as shown.Connect the two batteries in series to get 8V out put. Step-3 Connect th...

How to make a simple obstacle avoiding robot using Arduino uno

Image
Obstacle avoiding robot Its a kind of automatic robot which can avoid obstacles coming in front its path.In this tutorial I am gonna show you how to make it using simple components and using super simple code. Components we need : Arduino uno R3 *1 Ultrasonic sensor *1 150 RPM BO motors *2 Motor driver IC (L293D) Wheels*2 4V rechargable battery *2 Power bank( any mAh specification )*1 Jumper wires chassis*1 Steps to be followed : Step-1 Assemble BO motors and Castro wheel on the chassis as shown in the figure. Note: This is an example,my real robot have hand made chassis but the process is same. Step-2 Now place the battery and the Arduino uno board on the top of the chassis as shown.Connect the two batteries in series to get 8V out put. Step-3 Connect the motors and power source to the L293D IC as shown in the figure The polarity of the motors can be changed by altering the pin no. jack if the motor does not spin in t...

Make your own multi-touch table like in sci-fi movies

Image
I have looked around for a good in depth instruct-able on how to make a multi-touch table and I didn't find any I liked. I hope you enjoy making your very own multi-touch table and that my instructions are clear to you. This uses the FTIR (Frustrated Total Internal Reflection) system to track fingers on a screen. Step 1: Materials Here is an important list of materials you will need to construct a multi-touch table. Projector Clear 100% silicon Paint thinner Foam paint roller Vellum drafting paper Infrared LEDs Plexiglas Angle Aluminum Computer Web cam Mirror , I used a first surface mirror. This will make it so there isnt any extra reflection in the mirror. Step 2: Projector You need to get a projector with a fairly short throw distance. I got mine off of ebay for about $70 with 130 hours on it. If you already have a projector ready go to projectorcentral and find your projector and use the throw calculator to find the size of your scre...

How to make a two channel wireless robot at your home

Easy steps to make a wireless robot Here comes with the next level of my recent post, make your own wireless robot which can move forward, backward and left ,right. You will need some components which are easily available at hobbyking.com. Now comming to the tools... Tools we need 1. Soldering iron 2. Wire cutter 3. One sided tape 4. Plier 5. Screw driver 6. Glue gun (not really necessary) 7. Double sided tape Components we need 1. 12V DC motors *2 2. Chassis *1 3. Wheels *4 4. Rainbow wire(only for connecction) 5. Dpdt box*1 6. Dpdt switches*2 7. 12V battery 8. 9V battery 9. Relay circuit board 10. Wireless receiver 11. Wireless sender 12. Battery connector  13. Double sided foam tape 14. Dead axel Steps to be followed Step-1 Assemble all the motors on the chassis and connect the motors as shown in the figure. Assemble two wheels with the help of dead axle insted of using castro wheel. Step-2 Now con...
