Then we didn't stop : NIT Rourkela

Then we didn't stop:
 After coming back from our first fest,we came with a huge potential,with a dream to achieve something.Luckily we got a new project to do in NIT Rourkela's techfest.

Our task:
All we had to make a simple forward-backward and side by side moving simple robot.But this should be WIRELESS.The bot we named was "NEON 2.0" after the name of the event "Robo-venture 2.0". Robo-venture 2.0 had the participants guide a self-built wireless user controlled robot through a maze where it had to cross specific checkpoints, while facing various obstacles,in the minimum time to win the game.

Our robot(NEON 2.0):
As i said before,we had to make a wireless robot using Tx,Rx system. Aready i have uploaded the tutorial on "How to make a two channel wireless robot at your home".Click the link below to go to the page directly

Conclusion:

 The team who won the competition by completing the maze in a record of 8 minutes. And to the top it all, the team, which was from VSSUT. However, the runner-ups position was tied up between 2 teams – C.V.Raman College of Engineering,Bhubaneswar(which is our college) and CET, Bhubaneswar. The time taken to complete the task for one team was 10 min 34 sec 58 milliseconds and by another one was 10 min 34 sec 60 milliseconds. As there was just a difference of a fraction of microseconds between them, it was decided to let both teams have the runners-up position.
